Ben White Completes £50m Arsenal Move

Arsenal will sign Brighton defender Ben White for approximately £50 million after undergoing a medical examination on Wednesday.
Fabrizio Romano disclosed on Twitter and Facebook, a reputable source for all transfer news and actions. The transfer expert, known by the phrase "HERE WE GO" stated in a tweet on Wednesday:
He tweeted, “Ben White deal completed and confirmed – no doubt. He joins Arsenal on a permanent deal for £50m to Brighton, paperwork signed in the last few days. Contract agreed too.
Ben white participated in England’s Euro 2020 campaign and played in the two warm-up games against Austria and Romania. He has been on vacation after participating in the EURO 2020 with the British three lions. He visited Arsenal's training ground in London Kearney on Wednesday.
The 23-year-old player underwent a medical examination there and completed his £50 million transfer to the Gunners.
Arsenal has been paying close attention to White, this summer. This was after technical director, Edu and manager Mikel Arteta listed White as their primary goal.
Negotiations with Brighton went smoothly throughout the negotiation process. Earlier this month, the two parties agreed on a fee.
White then went on vacation, and now he has returned to England. Therefore, the deal will be finalized in the next few days.
Arsenal continues to work hard in the transfer market. Though, it turns out that, as several clubs have experienced, business is progressing slowly.
Roma is still keen to sign midfielder Granit Xhaka, but so far they are yet to meet Arsenal's asking price of approximately £20 million for the Swiss captain.
Similarly, Inter Milan is also keen to sign right-back Hector Bellerin. Although the Italian club is currently more willing to loan directly instead of signing him permanently this summer.
